Duo GuitarelloDuo Guitarello was formed in 1994 at the Freiburg Conservatorium of Music by John Benz, Cello, (then studying for a postgraduate Diploma after having completed an Honours degree at the University of Adelaide) and the Guitarist Hans-Jorg Langner. Concerts have been performed in South Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain and Cyprus. The Repertoire of the Duo emphasizes the music of South American composers and includes works by Gnattalie, Villa-Lobos, Granados and Zenamon, as well as classical works by composers Schubert, Vivaldi, Ravel and Tchaikowsky.

Hans-Jörg Langner studied Guitar at the Musikhochschule Freiburg with Professor Sonja Prunnbauer. In 1996 he completed his Honours degree. He has studied with guitarists such as Pepe Romero, Manuel Barrueco, Costas Cotsiolis and Frank Bungarten, as well as with the composer-guitarist Ernesto Cordero.
